1950's bungalow completely redone inside and out! Beautifully decorated in a French Country/Florida style with pops of color throughout! Enjoy a cup of morning Joe while relaxing in the breakfast nook as the Gulf breezes wash over you. The breakfast nook opens into the newly remodeled kitchen with dishwasher, stove, microwave , bar and crisp white Corian counters. The kitchen has been stocked with everything from melamine dishes for dining outside on the patio or stoneware dishes for dining in the tropical dining room, we even have a large roaster pan for cooking up that holiday meal! Check under the sink cabinet to find basic cleaning supplies, dish towels and dish drainer. The living room and dining room have been opened up to create one large room for that feeling of spaciousness. The bar in the dining room has been stocked with plenty of indoor and outdoor bar-ware including the Margarita and wine glasses. In the living room we have added a new 42 inch flat screen with FiOS, Blu-Ray player, movies, books and games. Access your favorite shows on Netflix, Hulu, Vudu and Amazon Prime on the Blu-Ray so you don't have to miss a thing while you are on vacation, so cozy up on the couch and relax.

This adorable bungalow comes with 2 modestly decorated bedrooms. Each bedroom has a new queen size mattress, 1600 thread count microfiber sheets (very soft by the way), dresser and wardrobe closet. Relax under the ceiling fans for that complete tropical feeling. Feeling a bit chilly at night? Warm up with the our brand new Fujitsu Mini Split AC/Heater units (very efficient). You can control each unit separately whether you are in the living/dining room or bedrooms. No need to worry about robes or slippers... we have that too!

The bathroom has been totally remodeled with a large tiled walk in shower with handheld shower but look closer, we have added a rain head shower head in the ceiling for the feeling of a tropical rain shower. Dry off with luxurious Egyptian cotton towels, don't worry we have plenty to go around. No need to worry about bringing your toiletries, we provide 3.5 ounce bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, 50 spf sunscreen, fresh bar of Dial soap and body scrubby for that fresh spa like feeling.

Don't feel like heating up the kitchen for dinner? Well then, how about grilling up some fresh shrimp and steak on the propane grill and then dining Al Fresco on the patio. Get your daily allotment of vitamin D while lounging on the chaise lounges under the breezeway as the warm Gulf breeze flows over you.

Hmm, what about the laundry? Well not to worry, we've got that too! Located just a few steps from the front door is the laundry room complete with washer, dryer and folding counter. But wait... there's more! We keep the beach chairs, beach umbrella and rolling cart in the laundry room as well. Want to take a little bike ride to check out the area? Just let us know and we will place two bicycles in the laundry room for your enjoyment. The bicycles are available upon request for $25 each per week or $100 each per monthly stay.

Have pets? We are very fond of pets (up to 25Lbs.) so bring FiFi or Fido (we are very allergic to kitties... aahh choo!) along with you. They can run and play in the large fenced yard to their hearts' content. Please remember to clean up after you pet. Oops! You forgot to bring bags for FiFi? We provide one roll for each pet and a small bag of treats for them as well. After all, they are on vacation too!

There is a small beach that is opposite Bird Key that is definitely dog-friendly. It's used as a launch area for sailboarders and kayakers, some fishermen, and by locals who want a place for their dogs to swim. It's definitely a place for fido to splash around. It's certainly legal; there are doggy poop bags plus signs to clean up after your pet. If you're trying to locate it, Bird Key beach is just as you cross Ringling Bridge from downtown and before you get to Lido Key/St. Armands.

If you're just looking for a place to walk your pet, Joan Durante Park on Longboat is a good place.

Just minutes to 1000's of things to do! Only 3 blocks from Ringling College of the Arts and 2 blocks to the Sarasota Jungle Gardens provide you with the best location in town. A short 5 to 10 minute car ride to everything from Shopping, Art Galleries, Museums and Cultural Arts. Enjoy walking to outdoor Cafes, Farmer's Markets, Festivals and Parades. Walk the City's Waterfront Park & Harbor to Marina Jack's Restaurant. Sarasota, Sometimes Referred To As 'The Gem Of The Florida Gulf Coast' Is Rich With Culture -- A Theater And Arts District, The Bay Front Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, Art Galleries Along Main Street And Palm Beautiful And Sought-After Barrier Islands. Intriguing Museums, Breathtaking Sunrises And Sunsets, Ballets, Operas, And Plenty Of Outdoor Activities Add To The Immense Beauty Of This Locale. Whether It Is Watching Birds Or Exploring The Exotic Species Of Tropical Plants Or Simply Collecting Shells Along The Beach, Fun And Entertainment Will Always Follow You.

We totally loved it! Awesome! We'll be back! Cozy!
First time using VRBO and it was my wife's idea. She did an excellent job in locating this place and we were both well pleased. We both agreed that the beds could've been bigger but the preparation that went into this bungalow was unbelieveable. I am a tea drinker and bought my tea pot. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the home? A tea pot on the stove. Wow! Everything we needed was there for our convenience from the bleach and detergent in the laundry room to the seasoning for the meats we cooked in the cabinets to the gas grill outside. We really enjoyed the location, only a 6 minute ride to our daughter's dance studio and a Neighborhood Walmart right around the corner. The cost for us far out weighed a hotel because our daughter had her own bedroom, I could cook and we could have dinner at the dinner table. 2 bicycles were provided and located in the laundry room for us to ride if we desired as well as beach towels if we needed them. Very tastefully decorated and as cozy as can be. We are already planning on returning next year and hopefully we can do 5 weeks instead of 3. We also loved the fenced in yard where we could pull our vehicle inside and close the gate for the night. I would highly recommend this location and would stay either here or anywhere else we may be for a extended period. Our next reservation is already in place. Thanks..

the only challenge was one bathroom for two women!

We had two great weeks while staying at the Pam Bungalow. It was the prefect size for a young couple on their honeymoon. The towel swan on the master bed was a pleasant surprise. We spent a lot of time grilling and enjoying the outdoor patio area. We loved how clean and organized everything was! Thank you for a great stay.

Nice home very nicely decorated & furnished. So nice to have washer & dryer & storage for personal items. Site provided lawn chairs, beach towel & umbrella . Within walking distance to grocery store, dollar store , downtown etc. So many attractions in area, and lots of places to eat out. Appreciated that we were able to bring our cat with.
